Our Traditions
All Saints’ Day

Every All Saints’ Day our Kindergarten thru 5th Grade students dress up as a saint. Our 2nd Graders share a short history of their saint following our School Mass, establishing public speaking skills from an early age.
Family Talent Night
Every Spring the school hosts a family talent night, a great event that brings the whole family together!
Middle School Shakespeare Festival

Our Middle School students perform scenes from Shakespeare for our school students. A great way to gain exposure to acting out and listening to Classical Literature performed live.
Annual Christmas Pageant

With each student having a role in our Pageant, this sweet tradition embraces the meaning of Christmas. Solo parts are given to our Middle School students, allowing the opportunity to gain theatrical experience and performing in front of an audience.
Father/Daughter Dance

Celebrating the bond of fathers and daughters, this weekend event is a fun night for dads to take their daughters out for a fancy evening and make some memories. Moms, get your cameras ready!
Holy Thursday Passion Play
Each year on Holy Thursday, our students act out scenes from Palm Sunday, the Last Supper, and the Agony in the Garden in preparation for Good Friday.

May Crowning & Special 2nd Grade Mass
Our 2nd Graders don their First Holy Communion suits and dresses for an extra day as a 2nd Grade King and Queen crown Mary. Each student has the opportunity to present Mary with a flower during the procession into the church.

PTO Bingo Nights
Twice a year, our PTO puts on a fun evening for families to come together for some classic fun! Purchase Bingo cards, daubers, and concessions, this evening is a great night out for the whole family! Don’t forget the Prizes!
Spring Field Day

Each Spring our students enjoy a day of sportsmanship and fun! At the end of the day, students go head to head for tug-of-war games – the competition gets fierce!
Inspired by the work of St. Damien and St. Marianne Cope of Molokai, this event is a Hawaiian-themed student favorite!
Grandparents/Special Persons Day
We honor the wisest members of our community with a special day for our grandparents or a special friends. We kick off the day with a school Mass followed by a special breakfast and activity with our Crusaders.

8th Grade Graduation
8th Grade is a special year at Our Lady of Hope and after many years of formation and parental support, we celebrate our 8th Graders with a capstone Graduation Mass & Awards Ceremony. Our 7th Grade families put on a beautiful reception for our 8th Graders and their families as a final send-off to high school.
End of Year Step-Up Ceremony

Heading to the next grade is a big step and we like to celebrate it at OLOH! The last day of school classes are invited to “Step-Up” to their next grade level to get them excited about the upcoming year.
