Principal’s Welcome

Dear Parents of Our Lady of Hope School:

Having received the enthusiastic recommendation of the Principal Search Committee, and following our meeting last week, I am pleased today to announce that Mrs. Natalie Evans will be our new principal. 

Mrs. Evans has been in Catholic Education for almost 25 years. She has a bachelor’s of science degree in English education from the University of South Florida and a master’s of education degree in curriculum and instruction from National Louis University.  She holds a Virginia State license with endorsements in both administration and English as well as licensure in Florida. 

Mrs. Evans is originally from Florida where she went to Catholic elementary and high school. She began her teaching career on the high school level. After several years, she transitioned to teaching middle school English and religion. It was while teaching middle school that she felt the call to move into administration.  Upon moving to Virginia and for the past 10 years, Mrs. Evans has been the assistant principal at Holy Spirit School in Annandale.  She and her husband Brian have been married for 25 years and have two children.

Mrs. Evans has a passion and dedication to advancing Catholic education and sees it as the best opportunity to help our children grow in their faith and fully develop into servant-leaders.  She genuinely enjoys working with children and is a strong advocate for making Catholic education accessible to all learners. Mrs. Evans views her role as principal not just as a job, but as an opportunity to further Christ’s mission for His Church.  She is humbled and grateful for this opportunity to be part of such a welcoming and faith-filled community at Our Lady of Hope Catholic School. 

In concluding, I wish to express my gratitude to the members of the Principal Search Committee whose dedication has led us to this day’s happy announcement.
