If you are new to volunteering, please read the paragraph below before signing up.
How to Become a Volunteer: Starting the Process
- All Volunteers who have “significant and/or direct contact with children” are required to be compliant with the Office of Child Protection and Safety before they may volunteer.
- To become compliant all volunteers must complete a Virtus Training Session and fill out background documentation for the Child Protection Certification Program. You will also have to provide a negative TB screening or negative TB test signed by the doctor.
- Once you are cleared by the Diocese of Arlington, you may begin volunteering. This process can take up to 6-9 weeks.
- If you would like to start the process to become a volunteer please email Mrs. Matzke to have her assemble a packet for you to pick up in the school office.
