Snow Work Policy 2018-2019
With the unpredictability of the weather during the winter, the staff has compiled a snow work policy for grades K-8. Here are the following details:
  • One day missed due to weather, no assignments will be given
  • Two or more days missed: K-5 classroom teachers will send out an email to parents with the instructions on what the students are to be working on at home. Worksheets, etc. will be attached to the email; they may also direct you to their class page on the school website
  • Individual teachers in middle school will send out an email to parents regarding the snow work expected to be completed for their subject area(s). They may also direct you to the their class web page
  • Work will be counted as a homework grade and is expected to be turned in the first day back to school
  • If there are power outages, the work will be expected to be completed within a couple days of power being restored
If you have any questions regarding this policy, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher.

If you will have a sibling to register for next year, please contact the School Office at school@ourladyofhope.net  to have an application sent home with your current student(s).  We would like for all of our siblings to register early this year.  This will give us a better idea of how many openings we will have for Kindergarten and First Grade.
