Annual Christmas Toy Drive for House of Mercy
Thank you to all the students and families who participated in our annual toy drive. We collected two blue bins full of toys!  If your child brought in a toy this week, they may participate in Loungewear Day this Monday, December 17th. Here are the guidelines for Loungewear Day:
Feel free to wear an elf or Santa hat, Christmas socks, sweatpants and sweatshirts, fleece, flannel or even a nice warm pajama set. You may wear your boots, sneakers or crocs WITH SOCKS! The following list is not part of the Loungewear Day.
Please do not wear:
  • Jeans
  • Slippers
  • Leggings, Jeggings, skinny Jeans
  • Spaghetti strap tops, sleeveless tops
  • Shorts
  • Silky pajamas
Thursday, December 20th 
This is a reminder that Thursday, December 20th is a ½ day and students must be picked up by noon that day.  There is no Extended Day so everyone will be going home in carpool!
Christmas Pageant Details
We are looking forward to our 14th Annual Christmas Pageant to be held on Wednesday, December 19th at 7pm in the Church.  Student must be in their classrooms NO LATER THAN 6:30pm.  Parents will pick up their children from their classrooms after the event.
IMPORTANT:  We will hold an All-School Dress Rehearsal on Monday, December 17th.  Please send your child to school with their costume in a bag.  Thank you!
Children’s Choir for Christmas Eve Mass
ATTENTION Choir Parents!  Father Saunders has invited our Children’s Choir to sing at the 5:00 pm Christmas Eve Mass.  The students need to be at the Church no later than 4:00 pm that day for practice. This is an honor, indeed.  Please wear your Sunday best that evening for Mass. Any questions, please contact Mrs. Chelie VanBelleghem at cvanbelleghem@ourladyofhope.net

Orders for January hot lunches are due Wednesday,
December 19th 
by 11:00 pm Please try to order your child’s lunches before the due date so if the order does not go through Mrs. Harmon has time to contact you to correct the problem.  Please sign into the school website to place your order or you may click on the link provided:
FACTS Grant and Aid Program 2019
The diocese has opened up the process for applying for financial aid for the upcoming
2019-2020 school year. Listed below are the guidelines for applying:

  • Submit financial aid assessment application and all supporting tax documentation by due date
  • Applications will be completed electronically online at: online.factsmgt.com/Signin
  • Only one application is required per family
  • Remit processing fee
  • Families seeking aid for students in BOTH ELEMENTARY AND HIGH SCHOOL should follow the high school submission date
